RULES AND REGULATIONS

It’s important to us that you are safe, comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. To achieve this, it is mandatory that you abide by our rules and regulations. Anyone that cannot follow these rules will be asked to leave without a refund.

REGISTRATION:

 

  • Pre-registration for both Winter & Summer seasons may be made by email, phone or filling out our online registration form.

  • If making a reservation by phone or email, a 50% deposit is required when the reservation is made via check or credit card. Balance due upon arrival.

  • All campers and visitors must complete their registration at the office upon arrival.

  • We cater to people 55+ years (exceptions for special circumstances).

  • Check-in time is 1:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am.

  • Office hours are 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Sunday. Entrance gate closes at 6 pm.

  • Rates are for two (2) people. Each extra person is $4.00 per night.

PAYMENT POLICY:

 

  • Checks, cash or credit cards are accepted. Credit cards will be charged an additional 3% processing fee. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

  • Checks must be made payable to Old Town Campground and mailed to:

  • Payments are accepted in cash, check payable to Old Town Campground

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

 

  • A deposit is required when reservation is made.

  • If you cancel your reservation 14 days or more before scheduled arrival date, a full refund will be issued, less $25 processing fee..

  • If you cancel less than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, 50% of your deposit will be refunded.

  • No refunds for early departures or holiday reservations.

 

PARK RULES:

 

  • Speed limit is 5 mph.

  • Quiet hours are 8 pm – 8 am.

  • Management reserves the right to move you to another site, if needed

  • Visitors must leave by 11 pm. Registered campers are responsible for the behavior of their visitors at all times.

  • Golf carts are to be driven by licensed drivers only.

  • No ATV’s or 4-wheeler's allowed.

  • No fireworks or firearms allowed in the park.

  • Illegal drugs, violence, profanity, or aggression of any kind will not be tolerated. The Dixie County Sheriff’s Office will be called immediately, and you will be evicted from the premises without a refund.

  • No glass containers, except at your camp site.

  • No dish washing allowed in restrooms.

  • Unidentified vehicles will be towed at owners expense.

  • All cigarette butts are to be disposed of properly.

  • No littering. Take garbage to on-site dumpster/recycling.

  • Coin laundry is available for $1.50 for washer and $1.50 for dryer (40 min).

  • Free WiFi is available at most areas of the campground.

  • Free cable TV service connections are provided at each site.

  • No solicitation of any kind is allowed in the park.

 

SITE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • No site changes without prior approval from the office.

  • No home-made RV’s, etc., allowed. No tarps over campers. Management reserves the right to inspect and refuse RV’s.

  • Place garbage in dumpster located next to dog park. Household garbage only.

  • Only two vehicles and one RV per site. Golf carts count as one vehicle.

  • American flags only.

  • No objects may be tied to or hung from any tree or post.

  • Vehicle and RV washing allowed occasionally on site. 

  • You may wash your car at  the spigot near the storage area.

  • Do not trim any trees. Notify office of any limb removal needs.

  • No blocking, parking, or usage of vacant spots allowed.

  • Campers are responsible for keeping their site and RV neat and clean. No mold or mildew.

  • Be considerate of your neighbors. Keep noise to a minimum.  Observe quiet times.

  • Responsible, amicable, and sober behavior is always expected.

  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or dismiss any person and their property from the park.

  • Do not drive through open camp sites, stay on the driveway.

 

CAMPFIRES AND GRILLING:

 

  • Campfires allowed in fire rings only.

  • Do not dump charcoal on ground or in fire rings.

  • Do not pour cooking oil or grease down drains, on grounds, or base of trees.

  • No burning of trash at your camp site.

  • Campfires and grills must always be supervised.

 

PETS:

 

  • Maximum 3 small pets allowed. No aggressive breeds.

  • Pets must be well mannered.

  • Excessive barking will not be tolerated.

  • During walks, owners should direct the pet well away from public paths and camp sites to accomplish its mission.  

  • You must clean up after your pet! Failure to do so will result in your expulsion from the park.  Place pet waste in a bag and throw it in a dumpster.

  • Pets must be on a leash.

  • Owners are responsible for their pets at all times.

  • Pets that are noisy, dangerous, destructive, or considered to be nuisances will not be permitted to remain in the park.

 

VEHICLES

  • We welcome RVs up to 65 feet including tow & hitch (OAL), vehicles equipped for camping or hauling travel trailers, and tents.

  • Park speed limit is 5 mph.

  • RVs and vehicles must be in good working order. 

  • Golf carts, but not 4-wheelers or ATVs, can be used at the campground by licensed drivers.

  • Boat trailers and extra vehicles that do not fit within your campsite are parked in a designated area.
