Our annual chili cookoff was a smashing success yet again! With an impressive 14 entries and a fantastic turnout of 41 attendees, it was a delightful and spicy affair. The attendees had a blast sampling a wide range of chili recipes, from mild to mouth-wateringly hot and from meaty to vegetarian. Some participants may not have clinched the coveted chef popularity prize, but they certainly won the hearts and taste buds of the countless residents who couldn't get enough of their chili creations. Let's give a round of applause to our winners: Ann C. took home the prestigious 1st place, followed by the impressive Bert L. in 2nd place, and the talented Ted K. secured an admirable 3rd place. The deliciousness didn't stop at chili alone! We also treated our guests to homemade bread, delectable cornbread variations including sweet and confetti, a mouthwatering pasta salad, a medley of delightful sides, and a plethora of scrumptious desserts. It was an absolute culinary extravaganza!
